AGREA was awarded a Global Responsible Business Leadership Award 2017 for Agriculture Development Excellence last 30 March 2017 at the Nexus Convention Centre in South Bangsar, Malaysia.
The award represents the most prestigious form of recognition for companies globally on leadership in Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Sustainability.
The Global Responsible Business Leadership Awards is organized by the Asia Pacific CSR Council and this year was supported by the United Nations Global Compact. The award builds on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, that were adopted by UN Member countries in 2015 and are held in high regard by the private sector.
AGRICULTURE EXCELLENCE AWARD. Rachel Espejo-Empig, AGREA Director for Engagements and Negotiation, received the award last 30 March 2017 at the Nexus Convention Centre in South Bangsar, Malaysia.
Its criteria are not only well-aligned to the Ten Principles Of The United Nations Global Compact, covering the areas of Environment, Human Rights, Labour Standard And Anti-Corruption, but also recognize the companies achieving triple bottom line success.
Over 35 businesses were awarded during the event ranging from technology, education, and textiles. AGREA was represented by Rachel Espejo-Empig, Director for Engagements and Negotiation.
